If you have made your way here then in all likelyhood you were brought or you are very lucky, or unlucky... this depends on why and how you are here. The room is covered in sumptuous velvet wall hangings with crushed velvet linings, suggesting where ever you are it is the property of someone important. There are several rows of lace-like black curtains that you suspect are made of silk which obscure vision beyond them, the dark walls covered in archaic patterns that draw your attention in.... [ ]Hall of Mirrors
As you enter this place, you see the name "Hall of mirrors" suits it well. The place is indeed covered in material of a reflective nature, your reflection bobbing up and down and off to various other angles as you walk. Your mind plays tricks on you as the quiet sets in.......you are sure your reflection just winked at you, which would not be so bad if you weren't reflected many times in this place yet only one reflection made this secretive gesture.....

[ ]Onyx Ballroom
Had you not been led here by way of invitation and cleverly hidden access routes, you would never have dreamed such a place existed, nor even been capable of finding it, not on this island. The Onyx Ballroom opens out into a magnificently huge area, the domed roof seeming like an optical illusion such is its distance from your humble position on the floor, the length of the room closer to a colosseum in size than a formal ballroom. Despite the giant proportions of the ball room, there is an eerie sense of entrapment in the air, enhanced by the intricate silvery spider web motif that crawls out across the expanse of the floor, strikingly noticable against the all-encompassing black that the rest of the room is daubed in.

[ ]Secret Room
This room.......not much can be said for this room, if anyone knew it would not be secret would it? There is a one way mirror across the length of this place, it can be seen out of, but not into, yielding only a wall to onlookers from the outside. Whose eyes watch from this place, and what is within.......if you ever find out, it may be a good idea to keep a light nearby..... Room Caretaker: Megrim

A place no soul wishies to go, as this place is filled with general unrest and unease. If you find yourself here you should be worried perhaps even scared. This place almost seems as a void, hard to grasp at anything, or to determine any way out.

As the name implies, this is a forest, though to see it is quite different from hearing of it. [ ]Foggy Coast
The coast is described simply as "the foggy coast" you could ask why, but all explanations are void if you go and see the coast itself. the coastline is hard and rocky, making for poor footing, which in turn is made much more dangerous by the thick miasma-like fog that shrouds the coastline, making visibility a contradictory word here. In a display of irony this is the only place a boat can land to access the island, arriving here is just as perilous as leaving, it seems nothing can be done here without risk, the outline of wrecked ships you are certain is faintly visible, the fog taking it's toll for others' passing..........Welcome to Salamander.....

Perhaps its the marble that you notice first, or mayhaps its the high cathedral ceilings. The windows ordained with stained glass, candles seem to light the way to the altar. Along the walls the candlelight dances as ghostly reminders that this is a holy place, a place of peace for all religions.

[ ]Ivory Lighthouse
It is said that a young girl tends to the lighthouse making sure the light stays lit. The beacon to those ships trying to navigate the waters and return to shore. By day and night, she guards the flame, and the hope that her love, a sailor, shall return safely. Legend holds that perhaps he's already a ghost, and she herself ethereal in form, magic bonding her to the ivory lighthouse in a neverending wait for the love which should return to her. Atop the Canyons the view is breathtaking, as is the altitude at some parts. The Canyons spread out in front of you as far as you can focus, and likely a bit more, the steep sides and incredible depth make for vertigo inducing situations, not for a minute reducing the wonder they inspire however.

If you've been wandering the forest for awhile, you might have come across a rather new trail. Very new, barely able to be seen, unless perhaps you've reached it by some mistake, or maybe you've gotten lost. You might be able to hear the gentle sounds of slowly running water, and after walking for a time you'll come to a babbling brook. The brook, nestled deep in the forest, is a great place to get away if your looking for privacy.

[ ]Stonehenge
Sitting high upon a cliff, the stone circle stands watch over the sea below. From the smooth surface of the altar in the center of the looming pillars, one can watch the dolphins play in the surf just beyond the rocky crags at the base of the steep incline. The crashing of the surf is an ever-present melody, lulling those that dare listen to its charm. The music adds atmosphere to the events that are still held within the circle… the rituals and meetings of the mysterious Magi become lost on the wind, muffled easily by the pounding waves to create a place where secrets may be passed without an errant ear catching the words. [ ]The System
Reciently I've designed a pen and paper style rpg using the 4isles world as the setting. It uses dice and character sheets and all that good stuff. The system is not finished being created.
Included in this section are the rules and charts and things that explain how the system works. If I ever make an RPG book, it will have all of this included in it so that any GM can pick up the book and make their own story with it.
