 Searching for the exit
« Thread Started on Jan 25, 2005, 2:40pm »

Blasted merchant!

*The shout broke the still air, and soon a young man stepped into view. He wore simple clothing- though- the way he wore them made he seem as if he were a king. Indeed, he had been a chieftons son before leaving his homeland. His brown hair, a few weeks past needing a hair cut, was highlighted with all the colors of a fire, and infact it seemed that his hair was on fire, for it smoked profusely as he showed his annoyance.

*The man held in his hand a small orb of fire, letting it's light illuminate his way, though he saw to his disapointment there was no path. no, he had lost the path nearly an hour ago trying to find that merchant... Bloody thief is what he was, taking Kamog's money and telling him to come to his house in the forest. Leaving him a note to come here! How was he ever going to find him?

*kamog began to feel very depressed, and almost as soon as the depression took hold he began to feel fear. What was this place? He did not remember it, and the air it's self seemed to reak with with confusion and terror. He suddenyl realized, that he was no longer in the dark corridor, as natural light formed, then vanished as he tried to focus on it, leaving the area infront dark.

*Kamog turned, deciding he was going to leave, travel back to the dark corridor, then to the merchants house, wait for him, the choke him... He doubted he would really choke the man... but... Facing the way he had come, or so he thought, Kamog began walking forward again, his stride confidentl, though his eyes darted left and right, and his hair still smoked.*

SOMEONE! ANYONE! HEEELLLLP!

*Another shout broke the air, almost two hours later, as Kamog was hopelessly lost in the "Limbo" He was, as was his right, scared silly. His hair had gone up in flame nearly twenty times in the past hour. He looked to his left again, he had been hearing voices to the left for several minutes, but no matter how many times he turned that way, the voices were always distant,a nd allways on his left.*

HEY! HELP ME!!

*Kamog looked up, he did not like it here, obviously. Then, looking about on the ground, the area below his waste growing darker just to hinde rhim, or so it seemed, he found a bench. Not questioning how it got there, Kamog sat on the bench, falling through the air as the illusion vanished.

Laying on his back and closing his eyes, trying to pretned he was in bed, kamog cursed. It was not like him to curse, but it was not like him to get lost in a depressing and fearful place as this either. This room scared him, downright scared him. And he curled up in a ball on the floor his eyes still closed.*

I'm going to die here...

*A voice chose this moment to laugh, a high pitched woman's laugh, showing obvious delight. kamog assumed she thought his situation was funny, he did not. Suddenly, anger overcame fear and he stood, looking to where the laugh came from*

Shut up! Just shut up allright?

*He waited, he didn't here a reply, and he sat again on the ground, sighing greatly, and wishing his knight in shining armor would appear to help him... Prefferably a female knight... A very pretty one with dimples... He sighed again, and waited for whatever might happen, to happen.*

In the darkness, she could hear something, or someone. Opening her topaz eyes she looked and saw a golden light in the distance. Her head rose, and began to walk towards it, her claws tappin on the floor as she walked.
Sniffing the air she could smell smoke and began to panic, opening her huge icy cold, bat like dragon wings she flapped about, causing great wind, making the light in the distance flicker.
She roared as the wind and wail echoed around her, making her scales tingle she shot up into the darkness, circled once and hovered over the golden light, she could see she had startled it, getting closer and re-tracting her talons she approached it and landed safely next to it.

"Oh, i heard a noise and wondered what it is, im sorry i didnt mean to startle you..."

Folding her wings she looked at him, being almost the same height as him, she was a small dragon compared to her ancestors. Her eyes clear as water twinkling in his fire, her scales flash over glinting in the light, her origin was known obvious to sight, she was an ice dragon, a friendly one by her approach to the human.

*He nearly leap into the air when suddenly the Dragon landed in front of him. The limbo he was caught in seemed to change with it's entrance and he would have turn and ran, if he hadn't been to afraid. What could he do against a dragon?

It was at the same time that he was thinking this that his mind began to register the small size of the creature, and then it spoke to him. Despite it's polite attitude and size Kamog gulped before saying the first thing to some to his mind.*

Are you a merchant?

*No i used to be a scorcers assistant. That was many years ago...*

With the last word in rememberance she looked to the ground. On all floors she shone in the darkness light a light glow, lighting the way she looked up again, uncertain of the boy infront of her she stood up in a cautious position.

*My names Tundra, whats yours?..*
